We clean and cut the julienne onion, then we put it to harden in 3-4 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Cut the cabbage and add it to the onion, over low heat, stirring occasionally. Season with salt, pepper and paprika.

Heat the remaining oil in a pan, cut the sausage into slices and fry on both sides until nicely browned.

After almost 30 minutes of cooking, add the sausage slices, diced tomatoes, tomato juice and mix well.

Grease a ceramic tray with butter and preheat the oven. Pour the cabbage dish into the pan, level it nicely and put it in the oven for about 30 minutes.

Clean and wash the vegetables well. Cut the onion into fish, carrots and sausage into slices (if they are too large they can be cut in half first), strip peppers, celery and diced tomatoes. Place all the ingredients in an oven tray, add the broth, salt, dill and thyme to taste and mix so that everything is evenly distributed throughout.

Add the soup (or water) on top and put in the oven heated to 190 ° C for 70-80 minutes, noting that we have to mix everything again after the first 40 minutes. If you think they need more water you can add more, but let it be hot.

Remove from the oven and serve hot.

What are the benefits of cabbage?

A study at Georgetown University showed that cabbage contains a compound called 3,3-diindolylmethane (DIM), which increases survival rates from exposure to a fatal dose of radiation.
