Papanas preparation recipe
Mix the cheese with the eggs, sugar, essence, vanilla sugar and baking soda, then add the flour, little by little, until a non-sticky dough results. We leave it to rest for 15 minutes, after which we form balls that we flatten and drill, so that the shape of a coil comes out. We also make some smaller balls and fry them in a hot oil bath until they brown nicely.
We take them out on a paper napkin to remove the excess oil. Place the papanas on a plate, spread the sour cream, over which we put the jam, the smaller ball, then again a little sour cream and jam.
We serve with great appetite!
