I rubbed the yolks well with the sugar until they doubled in volume, then I added (stirring constantly) the oil, the milk and finally the flour mixed with the baking powder. I put the dough in a tray lined with baking paper and I put it in the oven for 10 minutes.

I peeled the apples and peaches and cut them very finely (they can be grated if you want), I soaked the raisins in water a little before, then I put all the fruits together with the sugar on the fire. and I left them until the juice left by them decreased. At the end I added cinnamon and then I let the filling cool a little.

I left the dough in the oven for only 10 minutes, then took it out and put the fruit on it. I beat the egg whites hard together with the sugar and I put the meringue over the fruit and I put the tray back in the oven until the meringue is nicely browned.

I missed such a cake, good, simple and with the aroma of childhood.
