Recipe Biscuits to hang on the tree of of 08-12-2013 [Updated on 19-12-2018]
On December 8th it is traditional to prepare the Christmas tree, and also on the blog post mine this year, in the office I decided to prepare the cookies to hang on the Christmas tree and use those as decorations. So one afternoon I made the cookies and my sister and the girls who work with me made the decorations with royal icing and sugared almonds, it was really fun and the tree came out really cute, don't you think?
Last night we did the Tree here at home, it was the first year that Elisa was a 100% active part in this thing and she loved passing me the balls, seeing the lights and decorating the house, I was a bit afraid because most of my decorations are made of glass but luckily she was good and didn't break anything, at least for the moment;)
Well friends I wish you a good feast of the Immaculate Conception and if you want to prepare too i Christmas cookies to hang on the tree, this is my recipe, basins and good day.
How to make cookies to hang on the tree!
In a bowl put the flour, starch, sugar and vanillin.
Make a hole in the center then add the butter cut into chunks and the yolk.
Mix all the ingredients until you get a ball.
Wrap in plastic wrap and put in the fridge to rest for half an hour.
Roll out the dough into a rather thin sheet on a surface and create your biscuits with a pastry cutter then make a small hole in each
Bake in the oven at 180 for 10/15 min
Then let it cool in the meantime prepare the ice
Whip the egg white with the icing sugar and a few drops of lemon until you get a nice thick cream
Divide the mixture into various bowls to which add a few drops of dye
Divide the mixture into a few disposable saxophone and decorate the biscuits as you like
Let the ice dry completely
Then take the ribbons and pass them through the little hole
Make a way and hang your cookies on the Christmas tree
