The Flapjacks were suggested to me by Miriam under the recipe of grancereale biscuits, I was looking for a way to consume oat flakes and she came to my rescue talking about these fantastic bars, said and done, prepared, tasted and super appreciated . The recipe to prepare these oat bars is really simple, they can be customized by adding chocolate or fruit and are ideal for a snack or a snack, moreover, if stored in a tin box they are fresh and fragrant even after several days. How to make flapjacks
Melt the butter and brown sugar in a saucepan.
Once the butter and sugar have melted, add the maple syrup and mix.
Put the oat flakes, chocolate chips and dried fruit in a bowl.
Then add the syrup.
Mix the ingredients well, mixing with a wooden spoon.
Pour the mixture into a 20x30 cm mold lined with parchment paper.
Distribute the mixture evenly and level the surface with a spatula.
Then bake at 140 ° C and cook for about 40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let the mixture cool, then cut into 16 bars.
Let them cool well, then keep the flapjacks in a tightly closed container and enjoy them for a healthy and delicious snack.
