Fluffy cheesy biscuits

Good and fluffy cookies
For capricious children:
Pigs, deer, teddy bears,
To grow big and smart.

  • 250 gr flour
  • 50 gr cold butter
  • 120 ml of sweet milk
  • 100 gr sweet cheese (cow)
  • 30 gr grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 salt powder (optional)

WORK PLAN fluffy biscuits with sweet cheese

  1. In the bowl in which we put the flour mixed with baking powder, add the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese and butter (cut into smaller pieces). If you want more salt, you can add a pinch of salt. I made them without salt, the only salty ingredient being Parmesan. They seemed ok so less salty, considering that I prepared them for a one and a half year old child.
  2. Mix all the ingredients well and knead until you get a crust that comes off easily from your fingers. On a flat surface, lined with flour, spread the dough with the rolling pin (preferably to leave it a little thicker 5 cm). If we leave them thicker they will be fluffier, if we leave the dough thinner they will be a little crispier. It depends on what texture you want for the little ones. They are delicious in both variants.
  3. I cut them out with animal shapes. The funnier the shapes, the more interesting they are for the little ones. Then we place them in a tray (the size of the oven) lined with baking sheet.
  4. Leave for about 20 minutes in the oven heated to 170 degrees. The cookies should be lightly browned on top, but not excessively, to make sure they do not burn on the bottom.
  5. Good appetite for fluffy cookies with sweet cheese!

These cookies are also very good for the little ones, but they will not be refused by the big ones either, when we want to nibble on something. They are good warm, but also cold the next day.

How to prepare mummy-shaped cheese salad

In a large bowl add sour cream and half the amount of cream cheese. Mix everything very well until you get a frothy composition. Add Swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, onion, bacon and almonds and mix everything well. Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover the bowl in which you prepared the salad and add it to the fridge for at least an hour to cool. When it has cooled completely, take the salad out of the fridge and place it on a plate, taking care to give it the shape of a mummy.

Mix the rest of the cream cheese with the milk, until you get a frothy cream. With the help of a spirit, add the cream formed on the whole body of the mummy, in the form of bandages.

At the end, cut a piece of red pepper to form the mouth and add the peppercorns instead of the eyes.

Method of preparation

1. Grate the cheese on a small grater and transfer to a larger bowl.

2. Add sour cream, eggs, cumin, tomato juice and salt. Mix everything with a whisk.

3. Incorporate the flour, adding little by little and stirring constantly, then knead. Finally, a ball of tender dough is obtained, which is left to cool for 30 minutes.

4. Spread the dough on the board in a sheet about 1 cm thick, cut with the help of cookie cutters (I chose stars and little men).

5. Carefully place the figurines in the tray lined with baking paper and place in the preheated oven. Bake over medium heat until the toothpicks pass the test.

6. Leave to cool in the pan, then remove from the pan and place on a plate. They are served as such.
